Usage

• Mainly used for maintain the temperature of molten aluminum during metal die casting , gravity casting and low pressure casting.

 

Equipment Features

• Non-metal molten bath, so the molten aluminum is free of irony accretions and other pollutants.

• The service life of the molten bath is more than 5 years.

• The furnace lining is built by the multilevel leakage prevention technology, which prevents molten aluminum from “leaking into” the furnace lining.

• The molten aluminum thermocouple protection tube is made from silicon nitride, which is highly heat-conducting, resistant to corrosion by the molten aluminum, resistant to thermal and cold shocks and highly strong. The tube can be directly immersed in the molten aluminum to measure its temperature. It has a service life of more than 2 years.

• Immersion heating―a paradigm of high-quality heating technology

• Equipped with a ceramic heater,  which is immersed into molten aluminum for direct casting  heating . It has advantages: High  heat transfer efficiency; high heating speed; less hydrogen gas into the molten aluminum; uniform temperature and less oxidation of molten aluminum.               

 

Furnace Structure Features:

• The heater protection tube, which is one of the core components of the immersion heating furnace, is made from gas-phase sintered silicon nitride. This protection tube neither reacts with the molten aluminum, nor sticks to aluminum; resistance to rapid cooling and rapid heating; high hot strength; high thermal conductivity; non-conductive; service lift is more than 3 years.

 

• The electric heating element is made of a high-temperature resistant wire produced by a world-renowned brand of Sweden. The electric heating element offers resistance to high temperature oxidation, high temperature strength and high surface loading. It has a service life of over 2 years.

• The tight connection between the heater protection tube and the furnace body is technically critical to the immersion heating furnace. We use a unique elastic compressing sealing technique, ensuring that molten aluminum does not leak even under a high pressure of 0.25MPa.

• The heating element can be replaced in the thermal state of the furnace. Without influence on the protection tube and the furnace body heating, an electric heating element, once damaged, can be replaced freely in the hot state to achieve non-stop furnace maintenance.

• Efficient protective measures

• There is a temperature detection element is the heater protection tube. The temperature in the tube can be controlled automatically by an electronic control system to avoid overheating. 

• The heater protection tube is internally equipped with a tube rupture detection element. In case of rupture, the heater will be powered off and the electronic control system will give a warning signal.

• The heating system is installed with an earth leakage protection device to prevent electric shocks.

• The standby radiant heater provides emergency heating when the immersion heater is damaged while assisting the furnace.

Plate-Type Holding Furnaces

 

Introduction:

• A plate-type holding furnace is used for heat preservation of molten aluminum during metal casting. Made of high-strength calcium silicate insulation boards that are non-sticky with molten aluminum, the molten pool has unique advantages over common molten pools.

 

Equipment Advantages:

• The furnace surface temperature rise is lower than 10°C, improving the “hot” casting environment!

• After 8 hours of power failure, the temperature drop of molten aluminum is lower than 60°C! The thermal conductivity of calcium silicate boards at 600°C is less than 1/5 of that of heavy casting materials, suggesting that calcium silicate boards have good thermal insulation performance;

• The molten aluminum is not sticky to the molten pool or deposit on its surface, reducing furnace cleaning time!

• The holding furnace can save over 30% energy compared with conventional casting holding furnaces. Owing to the low furnace surface temperature rise, very little heat is dissipated from the furnace body;

• Easy to maintain. When the plate-type molten pool (usually has a service life of over 4 years) breaks down and has to be replaced, it takes only 3 working days to replace it with a new one;

• An excellent casting environment is offered to enhance the corporate image.

Structural Features of the Furnace Body

• The calcium silicate insulation board for molten pool splicing is the most vital part of the holding furnace. Not reacting with aluminum, this type of insulation board is non-sticky with molten aluminum, resistant to rapid cooling and heating, featuring high temperature strength and thermal conductivity, and non-conducting. It has a service of over 3 years.

• Spliced together in a reliable way, the molten pool does not leak at all. The molten pool is elaborately processed with the foreign sealing technology and overall bonding technology, ensuring 100% non-leakage.

• Two heating methods, namely, radiation heating and immersion heating, are used to maximize the “energy-saving effect” and “low burning loss performance” of plate-type holding furnaces. The standby radiant heater offers assistance to the furnace and can also be used for emergency heating in case that the immersion heater breaks down.

Dosing Holding Furnace

 

Usage

• The dosing holding furnace is mainly used for heat preservation of molten aluminum and fixed supply of aluminum during aluminum casting. For the furnace, aluminum is supplied by gas pressurization and an expert-based dosing calculation procedure is adopted, realizing the quantification of aluminum supply and high-efficiency production. The furnace is a new-type holding furnace manufactured by the Company using the self-developed “dosing control technology” based on years of experience in producing low pressure holding furnaces and automatic liquid surface compression systems.

 

Equipment Features

• The molten aluminum outflows from the lower part of the molten pool, not mixed with oxidation slags on its surface.

• High dosing accuracy. The dosing accuracy<± 1.5% (by weight).

• The molten pool is heat-sealed, minimizing the oxidation loss of molten aluminum to≤0.1%.

• The molten aluminum is of high quality owing to low air absorption.

• The high consistency of casting weight, casting flow rate, casting speed, casting temperature and casting time and other parameters prevents various casting factors from affecting casting quality.

• It can be equipped with an in-line air brick degassing and refining device to continuously provide high-quality molten aluminum.
