Low pressure casting complete equipment

 

• Used for the production of sand and metal low pressure castings such as rubber tire aluminum alloy molds and high-pressure electrical aluminum castings; suitable for small-batch production of heavy castings.
• Composed of a tilting melting furnace, a mobile low pressure holding furnace, a degasser, a hydrogen gauge, a base frame, a rising tube preheating furnace, a die preheating furnace and a gas-controlled pressurization system.

• With PLC as its core control unit, the low pressure casting liquid surface pressurization control system is equipped with pneumatic and detection devices such as imported proportional valves and pressure transducers, used for real-time closed-loop feedback control during low pressure casting liquid surface pressurization.

 

Equipment Features
• The equipment is designed with multilevel linear pressurization function. The pressurization pressure and rate at different levels can be set freely within the process range.
• Imported proportional valves and high-precision pressure transducers are used as detecting elements, realizing real-time closed-loop feedback control during pressurization.
• With PLC auto-control ability and a human-machine interface, the equipment can set a pressurization curve manually or automatically by real-time tracking; the pouring process can be accurately repeated under selected technological parameters.
• There is a parameter setting interface and low pressure pouring monitoring interface on the human-machine interface. On the monitoring interface, the setting curve and the feedback process curve are displayed on the same interface, and PLC control can be conducted to control the difference between the preset technological parameters (curve) and the actual technological parameters within the standard range.
• The pressurization process is completed automatically, not affected by manual operation, ensuring the high repeatability of the pouring process; the system can store the pouring parameters (curves) of 8~10 types of castings, and the parameters can be easily adjusted or used in the production process.
• The equipment is designed with leakage compensation functions. The pressurization process is not affected by gas pressure fluctuations or holding furnace leakage (within a certain leakage range). This fundamentally ensures the high repeatability of pressurization.
• The equipment is designed with automatic compensation function. After each time of pouring, the metal liquid in the holding furnace is reduced, leading to drawdown in the metal liquid level, causing a difference in pressurized pressure, but the difference can be compensated.
• When the liquid level rises, the suspended state of the liquid level can be accurately controlled and fixed so that the liquid level achieves stability near the pouring inlet. This helps to preheat the rising tube and manually clear away the oxidizing slags in the rising tube.
• The liquid surface pressurization control equipment can be easily mounted on a low pressure casting machine. It is necessary to connect the equipment to the compressed air pipe network and holding furnace if automatic pressurization control needs to be realized in the pouring process.

Rising tube preheating furnace

 

Usage
• Used for the preheating and heat preservation of rising tubes during low pressure casting. A heated rising tube can be put into a low pressure holding furnace in the thermal state. Compared with flame heating, electric heating can evenly heat a rising tube, thereby prolonging its service life.
